Why do some trial lawyers win [a lot]?
I've spent the better part of a decade trying to answer this question. In the process, I have been blessed to learn from some of the most prolific trial lawyers in America. I've studied nearly every textbook, manual, and how-to guide on trial practice. Surprisingly, much of what I have learned came from outside the profession--behavioral economics, game theory, and social science research. This multidisciplinary approach has produced great results.
The act of blending varied concepts and skills is one of the hallmarks of the elite trial lawyer. In a series of posts over the next several months, I will explore what to blend and how to blend it.
